I was born in 1975 in Linköping, Sweden, and I have lived in North Germany since 1997 with a break of three years in Sweden. I have also lived in London and travelled widely. I studied English and German, and for my degree I specialised in German, together with education and chemistry. I keep in touch with my mother tongue by talking to family and friends on the telephone, and paying them frequent extended visits. I listen to Swedish radio, and read Swedish books and newspapers.
